Sourcing methodology

A calendar-based archive of public court filings and docket events.

Reckless Ben Lawsuit Timeline stores document metadata and external source links only. We do not mirror filing PDFs or host unverified user-authored legal content in the live calendar.

Accepted source domains

Submissions and imports must reference URLs from recognized public repositories:

  • courtlistener.com
  • www.courtlistener.com
  • pacer.uscourts.gov
  • ecf.uscourts.gov
  • supremecourt.gov
  • www.supremecourt.gov
  • govinfo.gov
  • www.govinfo.gov
  • uscourts.gov
  • www.uscourts.gov
  • bamsucks.com
  • www.bamsucks.com

Moderation workflow

  1. Public users submit docket number + source URL only.
  2. Automated validation checks format, domain, and duplicates.
  3. Human reviewers approve or reject before calendar publication.
  4. All moderation actions are recorded in an audit log.

Major milestones

Some calendar entries are tagged as major milestones — arrests, key hearings, significant filings, and other high-profile moments drawn from the same public-record sources as the rest of the archive. Each milestone includes a short neutral summary and a link to the primary document (police report, court filing, or archived PDF).

  • Milestone descriptions summarize linked documents; they are not independent reporting.
  • Allegations in complaints and police reports are not findings of guilt or liability.
  • To suggest a correction or additional milestone, use our contact form (contact@recklessbenlawsuit.com).

Verification levels

  • OfficialCourt — direct court or PACER reference
  • CourtListenerMirror — mirrored metadata from CourtListener
  • NewsArchive — archived news or public statement source
  • CommunitySubmitted — approved public citation submission
