Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Citation submissions. When you use the submission form, we store the email address you provide, the docket number, source URL, and optional notes you submit. Submissions are reviewed before any calendar publication.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and reliability.
• Bot protection.The submission form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam. Turnstile may process interaction signals according to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Rate limiting. We use Upstash Redis to enforce per-IP submission rate limits.

Public records on the site

The calendar indexes metadata and links to publicly available court filings and related records. Names and case details displayed on the site originate from those public sources, not from private data we collect about visitors.

How we use information

• Moderate and respond to citation submissions
• Operate, secure, and improve the archive
• Comply with lawful requests when required

We do not sell personal information. We do not use submission emails for marketing.

Retention

Submission records and moderation audit logs are retained as long as needed to operate the archive and document editorial decisions. You may request deletion of your submission contact email by contacting us, subject to our need to retain moderation records.

Third-party services

The site links to external public-record repositories (for example, CourtListener, PACER mirrors, and other whitelisted sources). Those sites have their own privacy practices. Donation links on /support route you to third-party payment processors (PayPal, Ko-fi, etc.) governed by their policies.
